The grip case was a large portion of our CAD models, and the images below show our first prototype of the case. We followed a fairly free form method of design when we created this, mostly just going off of measurements of the original case of the pen. However, when we were able to compare the prototype to the actual product, we saw that the size and shape did not fit well. Therefore, we began working on a second prototype to revise these parts of the case.
